's Contest: Phantom RedeuxI've been working on it while listening to the BBC's radio version of POTO - which was what inspired me in the first place. The part where Erik speaks to the Daroga at the end - it always makes me weep. And I really missed that part in the ALW's movie - one of my favourite parts from the book and I yet need to find it visualized.
Of course there are more things I wish were different in ALW's musical, but I believe that it would have to be named Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera afterward... So I picked just ONE thing - that's why there's Madame Giry and not Nadir, and I tried Erik to look like ALW's Phantom (from the stage, not movie - as much as I, this may surprise some, love Mr. Butler in the role, you must admit he looks way too handsome - even for a "Devil's Child")
